  • Princeton Students for Reproductive Justice

    Volunteers welcome patients and guests at this local abortion provider and help to guide parking and entry. Escorts can often be the first smiling faces patients encounter, which helps to create a supportive and safe environment in light of sidewalk protestors.  A training session is offered every semester and prospective volunteers must attend to become regular escorts.

    When: Volunteering is generally on Saturday mornings from 9:30 am to about 12:00 pm. Travel is about 40 minutes both to and from the clinic.

    The Princeton chapter of the American Red Cross coordinates and runs blood drives for the Red Cross several times throughout the year.
  • Finding The Match

    Finding the Match is a campus chapter of Be the Match, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping blood cancer patients receive life-saving transplants. Given that the chances of finding bone marrow matches are extremely low, our campus chapter's mission is to find people willing to be donors. In addition, we work to spread awareness of blood cancers and similar topics such as peripheral blood stem cell donation. We additionally do outreach work with high school students who would be interested in finding donors within their respective student networks.

    Princeton Global Brigades mission and focus is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world.
  • Letters to Strangers

    Letters to Strangers (L2S) is a global youth-run organization seeking to destigmatize mental illness and increase access to affordable, quality treatment. At the Princeton chapter, we aim to do this through anonymous letter-writing exchanges and political/research advocacy.

    Generation Speak is a student group dedicated to building meaningful, consistent relationships between Princeton student volunteers, area youth and senior residents living independently at the Elm Court and Harriet Bryan House facilities of Princeton Community Housing.

We hold information events at local organizations to reach out to as many people as possible to improve their health care options.
