The Prison Electives Project develops and delivers original, semester-long courses at NJ State prisons. This project provides unique and additional educational opportunities to inmates at New Jersey state prisons, which have been directly linked to lower recidivism rates. Additionally, it gives volunteers the opportunity to design and deliver original curricula in the prison environment.
