"My passion for racial justice work was born from a multitude of experiences that taught me about racial injustice within the United States, specifically in regards to prejudice against African-Americans. This summer, I hope to learn how one can fight against racial injustice on the micro-level to have real world impact in communities. I am most looking forward to working on a project that contributes towards understanding and peace in my community as well as uplifting unheard voices."
