Memory from CA experience: My most memorable moment from my CA experience as a first-year was when I was working on the mural with my group. It was indeed a huge project, but it gave me the sense of the talent of the Princeton community (even when the students said that they were "not artists"). We all played music and chilled out afterwards, creating a relaxing environment where we would casually talk about our stories and Community Action experiences up to that point.
Reason for being a CA Fellow: I wanted to be a CA Fellow because it is an opportunity for me to connect with more students on-campus and welcome the Class of 2024! I was very apprehensive about what I would expect being at Princeton, but my CA experience gave me the idea of the friendliness of the Princeton community and the wonderful stories and insights that each student contribute to create a diverse and inspiring community. In being a CA fellow, I want to ensure that all freshman can feel the same way I did after being in Community Action!
Favorite spot on campus: Lewis Center for the Arts: The practice rooms inside Effron Music Building provide the most picturesque view as I tackle difficult piano pieces. Downstairs, on the forum level, I can look up and see the water glistening in the sun and hear the subtle music emanating from the four corners of the building. It is peaceful and relaxing open space, perfect for many students who appreciate the arts.
Fun Fact: I am an aviation geek! I love talking about airplanes and plan to take many trips in multiple types of aircraft when I get the time to do so.
