I recently attended an amazing Princeton graduation. Only this Princeton graduation didn’t happen in front of Nassau Hall, and the traffic wasn’t the bustle of Nassau Street. At El Centro in Trenton, NJ, graduation revealed how truly meaningful service can be.

Each week, Monday through Wednesday, Princeton University students travel to Rivera Middle School in Trenton, NJ. As a part of imPACT, a Student Volunteers Council (SVC) service project, the students tutor and mentor 11 sixth grade students.

Since April 25, Nepal has been devastated by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake and its aftershocks. Princeton University students are currently working to raise much-needed funds for short-term relief efforts and long-term reconstruction. Donate or join the effort.
