Congratulations to professor Jenny Greene, who was awarded the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Mentoring by President Biden on January 13. As co-founder and director of Princeton’s Prison Teaching Initiative (PTI), the award recognizes Professor Greene’s leadership of the program, which provides high-quality accredited coursework for incarcerated students in New Jersey prisons. We are delighted that Pace Center students in the Service Focus program have had the opportunity to work alongside Professor Greene, supporting the extraordinary work carried out by PTI.
