To be considered for transportation, student leaders are required to discuss transportation needs with the appropriate Pace Center staff adviser and to submit a formal request as part of the activity planning and approval process for the sponsoring program.

Approved activities sponsored by a Community House (CH) program, Student Volunteers Council (SVC) or Civic Leadership Council (CLC) project, or recognized Pace Center student organization

Fall Semester, Winter Session, Spring Semester
Types of Transportation Support Available
- Assistance with mapping walking and/or Tiger Transit Routes
- Subsidies for public transportation (e.g., bus, train, light rail)
- Subsidies for travel via the LYFT Pass program (carpooling expected, typically 2-4 volunteers travel together)
- Subsidies for Enterprise CarShare or rental vehicle (driver certification required, carpooling expected, typically 2-4 volunteers travel together)
- Subsidies for charter vehicles (e.g., van, bus)
Once approved, student leaders are responsible for providing and maintaining the roster of participating students through myPrincetonU. If the activity will use the LYFT Pass program, student leaders must submit requests at least five business days in advance of the first date of travel.

SVC, CH, CLC, and/or Pace recognized student organizations are eligible to request transportation subsidies as part of the planning and approval process for activities. Speak with your student leader and/or staff adviser to confirm if your specific activity has been approved and what form of transportation (if any) has been approved. Activities do not automatically receive transportation subsidies.

No. The Pace Center is not able to provide funding subsidies for transportation to undergraduate or graduate students volunteering on their own.
