TigerTAILS is a Student Volunteers Council service project which organizes volunteer groups to go to a local no-kill animal shelter, SAVE, A Friend to Homeless Animals, located in Princeton, NJ. Our volunteer groups help the shelter maintain a clean and comfortable environment for the animals with the goal of attracting potential owners and placing each and every animal into a loving home.

When: We send a group of up to 8 volunteers to the shelter a few times a week (dates and times depend on volunteers' schedules)

Where: Groups will meet on campus and will be driven by a van-certified driver to the shelter, which is less than 20 minutes away from Princeton campus.

Contacts: David Weiner (dmweiner@princeton.edu), Marisa De Silva (mssilva@princeton.edu)

Link to shelter: http://savehomelessanimals.org

NOTE: Volunteers are required to attend a training session before they are able to volunteer at the shelter.
