Community Based Tutoring, “After-School”, will focus on supporting low income, minority, and first generation middle and high school students in the Princeton community to overcome the education gap. We partner with community based programs to provide tutors to various locations for after-school tutoring. We aim to provide students with a solid academic and social foundation to achieve their own goals and to be a support system outside of school. Volunteers will be able to sign up for tutoring at various community sites M-Th. We are excited for our students to work directly with students in the community. This program is scheduled to start in mid semester as students are identified for tutoring.
