Trenton Historical Tour (Month of Service)

Repeats every week 1 times. Also includes Fri Jan 25 2019.
Fri, Jan 4, 2019, 9:00 am to 1:30 pm
Fri, Jan 25, 2019, 9:00 am to 1:30 pm
Location:
The tour will depart from behind the Frist Campus Center

Get to know the Capitol City on a small-group tour with David Brown, Pace Center staff and a native Trentonian. The van will leave campus at 9:00 am and return at 1:30pm. This will be a small van tour with stops sharing some key aspects of Trenton’s rich history and how it has informed the City’s current strengths and struggles. Participants will see the effects of decades of brilliant to bungling interventions and have an opportunity to discuss why they were so over an included lunch with community partners. The stops – and perspectives – can range from a street outreach center to the Trenton Coffee House and Vinyl. There will be some walking involved (weather permitting) so please wear comfortable clothing. Please contact David Brown at db1@princeton.edu if you have any questions or specific accommodations would be helpful.
