The Organizing Praxis Lab, sponsored by the Pace Center and University Center for Human Values, is a yearlong group-based program dedicated to deepening the knowledge and skills of community organizers.
This full-day workshop will focus on unpacking power, relationship building, action and civil disobedience. This workshop will serve as a kick off to a monthly speakers series that features local faculty, practitioners, and experts from abroad on topics centered on community organizing. The speaker panels will be open to the public followed by trainings specific to the Organizing Praxis Lab.
Students must apply by Sept. 30 to take part in the year-long program and training workshop.
