PTI offers 15-20 courses per semester in up to seven New Jersey Department of Corrections (DOC) institutions and an additional 8-10 courses per semester at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) at Ft. Dix. PTI courses are taught by approximately 150 active volunteers, including Princeton University graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, community members, and staff, who utilize an innovative team-teaching model. PTI offers a range of coursework in humanities, physical sciences, social sciences, and mathematics, and reaches approximately 250 incarcerated students per year.
