Forbes College plays an integral role in supporting and promoting sustainability and food awareness on campus through the Princeton Garden Project at Forbes, a student initiative through the Office of Sustainability. With a large demonstration garden on site next to the Forbes' college house (79 Alexander), the Garden Project aims to cultivate a passion for sustainably produced food at Princeton and to provide the knowledge necessary for students to make informed food choices. It provides fresh, student-grown produce to the Forbes dining hall and offers a host of events from lectures to harvest dinners to outdoor movie screenings.
