In an effort to support service and civic engagement across campus, the Pace Center invites and accepts co-sponsorship requests from Princeton campus partners and community partners. Co-sponsorship is provided in the form of promotional (advertising) support.
If you are a student affiliated with a Pace Center program, service project or student organization and looking for support or promotion of an event, the Pace Center is automatically your co-sponsor.
Why co-sponsor with the Pace Center?
To make service and civic engagement part of the Princeton student experience, we have relationships with undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff, as well as over 200 community partners. Alumni, friends and allies regularly follow us on social media, subscribe to our e-newsletter and interact with us on a daily basis. Our diverse and inclusive constituency cares deeply about making a positive impact in communities and tackling critical social issues to ensure an equitable and just world. With the Pace Center as your co-sponsor, you benefit from promotional or funding support and gain an ally who will stand with you in your efforts to raise awareness, share information and inspire action.
Co-sponsorship parameters
The Pace Center’s definition of co-sponsorship is defined as promotional support between the Pace Center and the University department/center or community partner organization. The co-sponsored event, activity or project should support the University’s priority of discovering a deeper value of a Princeton education through meaningful service and civic engagement.
Co-sponsorship is offered to the Princeton campus community, as well as community partners associated with Pace Center projects or programs.
A co-sponsorship request should be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the event, activity or project. Requests submitted with less notice may not be approved.
Co-sponsorship requests are made through the Pace Center’s Co-sponsorship Request Form. All requests are required to include:
- Your name and affiliation with the University and a brief description of your mission and purpose
- A description of the co-sponsorship event, activity, or project, including how it aligned with service and civic engagement.
Promotional support
Requests for co-sponsorship in the form of promotional support are accepted from University campus departments and centers, and Pace Center community partners.
Promotional co-sponsorship includes sharing information on Pace Center social media, the Pace Center website, and the Pace Center’s new weekly e-newsletter.
Once approved, the Pace Center logo must appear on all printed and/or electronic materials, with files and instructions provided by the Pace Center.
The Pace Center for Civic Engagement should be recognized during the actual event, activity or project. Examples of recognition include mention of the Pace Center by the opening speaker and/or reference to the Pace Center on any banners, signs, or other publicly posted or printed marketing materials.
