Service and civic engagement are central to what it means to be a Princetonian. Service Focus is a signature program at Princeton University that bridges service and learning across the first two years of your Princeton experience. Service Focus is a foundational experience, where students learn how to serve, learn why to serve and learn from the experience of service.
As a Service Focus Scholar you immerse yourself in a summer service internship, explore service-related courses, engage with faculty and connect with peers to learn what it means to be “in the nation’s service and the service of humanity.”
Service Focus is administered by the Pace Center for Civic Engagement in collaboration with the the Dean of the College and internship programs across the University.
