How do we know how students learn through service? How can we improve our programs and plan for the future? We need data of course! To gather this crucial information, the Pace Center has developed a simple three-survey system to gather important data to guide our work and service at Princeton.
Each survey takes less than 5 minutes to complete and you - our students - make it all possible!
Community Action Survey
It starts with a survey to all freshmen who participated in CA. This survey gives us a baseline to understand what students learned from the experience, what they hope to do next, and how they define meaningful service.
How has perspective on meaningful service and learning changed? The entry survey goes out to everyone who joins a service opportunity in all of our programs and helps us begin to track pathways to and through service.
At the end of the academic year, this survey helps us cap off our data collection for the year. It gives us an opportunity to begin to assess our direction, successes and learning points to move forward.
