What issues are you passionate about? Well, it’s time to turn those thoughts into action! How? The answer is simple: lead a Breakout Princeton trip!

What is a Breakout trip? In short, they are fully funded service trips with the Pace Center for Civic Engagement designed by students that take place over  fall or spring break. You and a coalition of equally passionate Princeton students can explore an issue you care about. Challenge yourself, interact with new communities, make new friends, and bring civic engagement to the forefront of your learning. From mass incarceration to climate change, from Trenton to Tulsa, the opportunities are endless!

Applications to propose a Breakout Princeton trip for fall 2017 and spring 2018 are now open! (Due March 31.)

To apply, please complete the application with your co-leader. Remember, if you have led a Breakout Princeton trip in the past you are not eligible to lead again. There is no fee to go on or lead a Breakout Princeton trip. To get ideas, check out the Current Trips page to see what trips students are leading over Spring Break 2017.
