This job was challenging and satisfying because it required me to step out of my comfort zone, to organize whole projects, and to give back to a part of my community which I had never knew existed.  It was refreshing to see and meet people who were willing to give back so much to their community on a regular basis, especially in a city where many think that community development is a losing battle.
