Moneythink is a part of a national mentoring organisation that sends groups of 4-5 student teachers to prisons/youth correctional facilities once every week in the spring semester. All classes are geared towards helping prisoners with confidence and life after prison: we aim to aid with financial literacy and a basic knowledge of entrepreneurship. As a member, you'll create a personalised curriculum in the fall, which includes building towards a final case competition. It is, notably, also the only chapter of Moneythink that teaches in prisons.
When: We have separate meetings per curriculum group and volunteer every Friday and Saturday.
Where: Meet on campus, serve off campus.
