The Pace Center for Civic Engagement partners with Enterprise CarShare to oversee eight vehicles for Pace Center programs, service projects and student organizations to use to engage in the community. In order for you, as a Princeton University student, to access these vehicles, you must be VanCertified with Public Safety, provide specific documentation to the Pace Center and participate in Enterprise CarShare Training.
After becoming Van Certified(link is external) with Public Safety and submitting a completed driver's history questionnaire signed by Public Safety with notation of successful Behind-the-Wheel test as well as a copy of a valid driver's license to firstname.lastname@example.org, students will receive a confirmation email with a link to sign up for Enterprise CarShare Training. (Note: You must submit documentation at least three days in advance of attending a CarShare Training.)
ONLY those drivers who have received a confirmation email regarding their documentation will be permitted to attend CarShare Training.
Training will teach you how to reserve the vehicles, the policies for use of the vehicles, and your responsibilities as a member. After the session is complete, you will receive your Enterprise Member ID for logging into the exclusive Pace Center CarShare reservation and scheduling system. You will also receive your membership card which is used to access the vehicles.
