Engage & Serve: Spring Break

Sat, Mar 18, 2017, 9:00 am to Sat, Mar 25, 2017, 5:00 pm

Do you want to make a difference in our community and learn how to do service well? The Pace Center is connecting students with local organizations who need help tackling important projects that will have direct impact on the communities they serve and the social issues they address, such as education, hunger and homelessness.  This is a week to learn what it means to be an active citizen in the service of humanity; it’s also a week to have fun and meet new friends!  Engage at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen by tutoring patrons and then help prepare and serve the evening meal, or join a Habitat for Humanity all-day build and learn construction skills while helping to provide housing to a sponsored family.

Opportunities to engage, serve and learn will be available, Saturday, March 18 - Saturday, March 25. The week is designed to allow you to engage in as many opportunities as fits your schedule. Transportation is provided to our partner organizations, as well as lunch daily and a midweek “Reflection Dinner.”

Interested? please complete this form by Thursday, March 16. Questions? Email Carey Hoover at hoover@princeton.edu.
