Young Scholars' Institute
A multipurpose learning center and nonprofit organization, Young Scholars’ Institute (YSI) provides educational, cultural, and recreational activities for area youth and aids in enhancing their academic and social skills. Special programs and tutoring are offered to students in grades 1-12. Volunteer tutors work one-on-one with area youth for one to two hours per week. Tutoring opportunities are available in all subjects and grade levels. Sessions are scheduled Monday-Thursday, 3:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturdays 10:00a.m.-12 noon. YSI encourages parental and community involvement.
