For Volunteers

Volunteers form the backbone of Community House. Throughout the course of the academic year, roughly 125 student and community volunteers support seven service projects that serve children and families in the Princeton Regional School System.

Experiences of Community House Volunteers:

"Princeton students can spend all 4 years here and never know the community that lies beyond the trendy shops of Nassau Street and Palmer Square. However, Community House has allowed me to know the real Princeton community, and my experience here would not have been the same without it.”- Erica Jones ’06

That moment took me away from the theory and rhetoric and politics of education reform and put me squarely in the middle of the lives of people who are most affected by the achievement gap.
